Well we got back in late this afternoon. We had an amazing time. Harrison was good the whole drive up and back. The family reunion went very well. His favorite thing was the playground an stolen retriever. We drove to gatlinburg on Sunday and it did rain us while driving. After we checked in we were told afternoons were the best times to visit Cades Cove. We unloaded the van and headed out. We saw our first bear, which Harrison was asleep for, at the entrance to Cads Coves. We also saw some deer and wild turkeys before making it to the rest area. Harrison woke up while Eddie and I visited the shop at the rest area to get Harrison a black bear. He stayed awake the rest of the time and saw more wild turkeys. We were coming up to the end I was so so disappointed because he did not get to see a bear. I looked to my right and there one was. Eddie quickly grabbed the video camera and started recording. We named it Harrison's bear which we will probably not be able to identify when we go back next time. We also went to the aquariam where he made a little friend. We were looking at the stingrays and this little girl walked up and held his hand. She started talking to him but I am not sure what she said. Before she left Harrison gave her a high five and they both smiled at each other. Harrison is going to be such a ladies man. We bought him a shark at the gift shop and headed back to the room. Eddie and I then went out by ourselves for a little while. It was so nice and breezy.
We did not take as many pictures as I had hoped but we did get some video. I will post what pictures I did take as soon as I can.
